How would you react if a patient asked for their prescription so they could go to a different eyecare practice? You would probably feel hurt and angry. Rather than getting upset, go on the offensive. As ODs, we have a responsibility to serve our patients better, to ensure a positive patient experience. Give yourself the tools to go on the offensive and help your patients, rather than staying on the defensive and hurting a patient's experience.
